Finally! After months of planning and hours of labor, Blue Duck Copy now has a beautiful new home! Many thanks and sincere praises to Brian Gardner for the nifty new blog theme, and to Jamie and Harry at Men with Pens for the awesome customization, support, and encouragement. I love the look and feel of the new website and am glad to be getting back to blogging!
To fill in the customary “get to know you” phase, let me begin with the basics. I am married with two small boys, live on a farm in Amish country, and am a Registered Nurse. I began writing full time as a freelancer nearly two years ago and God has blessed my endeavors greatly. Along the way, I have had the oportunity to work with some terrific people, and make a few sincere friends.
I enjoy writing and have a passion for reading and learning. I devour three to four mystery novels a week. Some of my favorite authors are Ted Dekker, Mark Andrew Olsen, Brandilyn Collins, Janet Evanovich, and J.A. Jance. (If you know of any other great mystery suspense writers, drop me a line! I’m always on the look-out for new authors.
) I recently returned to college to finish my degree in Psychology, and spend my spare time in the equipment barn, tinkering with tractors and trucks.
Just last week, I took the plunge and switched all my computers to Macs, ending my love/hate relationship with Mr. Bill Gates and his products.
I am excited to get back to blogging and am looking forward to making new friends in the virtal world.
