I love this post Jamie – it’s so true. Poverty isn’t just a lack of material possessions or money. It can be much more than that. How many suffer in silence from spiritual poverty? Do I suffer from spiritual poverty at times? I try not to…but then, I wonder, how hard do I really try – try to see the needs of others?

Thank you for sharing this look at poverty – and the importance of God in this – it’s all very powerful for me.

We don’t do enough here as a family or as a company to help others. I intend to change that by the end of the month. I’m starting with little steps. Who knows where it will lead!
