Morning Tunes

Are you living your life without regrets, yet?

This week’s assignment was to write a letter to someone you would like to express your heart to before it’s too late.  Ask them to forgive you for the ways in which you might have hurt them. Extend your forgiveness to them for any pain they may have caused you. Most importantly, communicate your love to them and share with them how much they mean to you. Mail the letter and pray that God will use it to heal your relationship.

Just because I felt like having a little morning music, I thought I’d share. :) This one is in the spirit of living a no regrets life. Brandon wrote his letter, have you done yours?

(In case no one’s noticed, Brandon Heath is my new favorite artist this month.) Turn it up!

This one. Is very difficult for me. I’m not sure I’m ready. To write that letter.

And how does that make me feel? I feel like I would be admitting the mistake was all my fault. I feel that it makes me vulnerable. I feel that I am showing weakness.

Wrong? Yes. I’m not sure how to get over it yet, though…

WEL! It appears that sometime between when I wrote this post and when it published, Brandon’s record label requested that embedding be disabled on that video. What a shame. You can still watch it on YouTube or Barndon’s website http:brandonheath.com.

To make up for the goof, I’ve put up an alternate version for your enjoyment. :)

Hi Evelyn. sorry for the mix-up. Give it go now. :)

Matthew, I am so glad you wrote your letter! You get the cookie for the day. You’ll have to steal one from Blogger Dad, I gave him the whole cookie jar this morning. :)

Lance, I think your feelings are to be expected. I felt that way, too. But then a good friend reminded me that God is made perfect in our weakness. That sounds trite, but He really does take our admission of weakness and our submission and make us stronger through the experience. Write on, my friend.
