Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I recently write some reflections on Christianity in the West. For me, going to Church is as close as people might ever get and still miss the point about what is means to be part of God&#039;s family; participating in his kingdom here and now, for this world. 

Solely focusing on personal salvation (my individual relationship with God) helps to miss the point, at least I think, or we could say is only one aspect to the bigger picture found in the broad teaching of scripture. 
Neat observations, I think I see what you&#039;re trying to get at. People have to determine if Christianity about a rules game/ set a doctrines one must believe so they can go to heaven after death? People make it about that while not understanding the role and message of ancient Christian writings. All the best,
